The current keyboard layout, called the QWERTY, was developed over a hundred years ago by typewriter inventer C. L. Sholes. It was chosen over the obvious alphabetical order because the old mechanical typewriters used long bars to print the letter on paper, and these bars would get stuck if the typewriter was typing English words very quickly. To reduce the bar clogging, Sholes placed letters that would be used together often as far apart as possible, like the letters "T" and "H".

And since that day we have been stuck with this layout, phasing it out would be too difficult since we've been used to it for generations.

You can get more information on this subject at Darryl Rehr's amazing resource, called The QWERTY Connection.

A Rotary Club is an organization comprising of local business and professional leaders. The clubs are all part of the "Rotary International" and their members are called Rotarians. I remember the Tom Hanks / Leo Di Caprio movie "Catch Me If You Can" starts off with Christopher Walken becoming a member of the New Rochelle (NY) Rotary Club, and he takes quite a pride in that. Later he even tries to use his membership as a plus point to get a loan from Chase Manhattan. But that was in the 60s, and I believe the club's social influence is no longer that effective.

The first Rotary Club was founded in 1905 in Chicago by attorney Paul Harris and three other businessmen. More information here from Wikipedia.

Also, my own opinion on this matter is that since the driver has to pay attention to other things, i.e. accelerating, braking, keeping an eye on the car in front, road signs, cops etc. he/she has less time to fool around and follow the concrete barriers or the lines on the road.

Here are some tips to reduce (or prevent!) motion sickness.

If that's the case then you can either get AT&T to close the account
(and there are ways of getting around those termination charges) or
you can request AT&T not to cancel your old contract and allot you a
new number, in which case you might have to go to an AT&T store and
obtain a new SIM chip for your old phone (they are supposed to do that
for free), but that's only if they haven't cancelled your account and
billed you for the early termination charges already.

Blog is short for "web log". It's more like a diary that most people used to keep when they where younger, or back in the old days when people used to a keepa record of their everyday life. The web part simply means that it's available on the web for everyone to access, although in some cases it might be password protected.

There are many site available today where you can start your own blog for free and without any advance knowledge of web pages. Blogspot is a good one. For advance blogging with full control over your blog try TypePad, or install Movabletype (that's what I use!) if you have your own webserver.

Blogs are evolving from just pages of text to PhotoBlogs, MoBlogs, and even audBlogs.
