/* ]]&gt; */
</script></div>Want to know any easy way to make money with your website or blog without relying on Google Adsense? Try using <script type="text/javascript">
/* <![CDATA[ */
function affiliateLink(str){ str = unescape(str); var r = ''; for(var i = 0; i < str.length; i++) r += String.fromCharCode(10^str.charCodeAt(i)); document.write(r); }

/* ]]&gt; */
</script>. How do I know this? Because I personally know people who are earning over $300 a month with a low traffic blog by just placing one 180x300 ad-space for Text-Link-Ads on their blog. And you don't have to update your code once placed to sell ads, they do everything for you and you just wait for your check (or they can PayPal it to you) and there is virtually no minimum earning limit to get paid! Try it now. Also, in case you want to use the same money to advertise your own site, they are giving away <script type="text/javascript">
/* <![CDATA[ */
function affiliateLink(str){ str = unescape(str); var r = ''; for(var i = 0; i < str.length; i++) r += String.fromCharCode(10^str.charCodeAt(i)); document.write(r); }

<title>Black Friday Deals for 2007</title>
<link>http://www.haydur.com/life/2007/09/30/black_friday</link>
<description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.blackfriday-deals.com/">Black Friday deals</a> fever seems to be starting earlier and earlier every year. Not only that, even the sales seem to be starting earlier every Black Friday, like last year's BestBuy opening at 5 am. And lastly, people seem to be getting to the stores earlier and earlier too: At 12 pm last year when I and my friends reached the mall, the BestBuy line was already over 100 people deep. That's crazy. But we managed to start a line at Staples and get very similar deals there with half the wait.</p>

<p>Anyway, this year am going one step further, launching my own website, <a href="http://www.BlackFriday-Deals.com">BlackFriday-Deals.com</a> to keep an eye on deals, ads, ad scans and more in anticipation of Black Friday. Keep checking that site regularly as I update the content and add deals upon deals upon more deals to it. Good Black Fridaying!</p>]]></description>

<title>DoD Websites Need Better Security</title>
<link>http://www.haydur.com/life/2007/08/17/dod_websites</link>
<description><![CDATA[<p>The EFF has done it again. They've sued the US Army in to making information public to show that military bloggers are not the worst culprits when it comes to leaking sensitive information that could compromise missions. Instead, it's that DoD websites are A LOT more responsible for the same. Boing Boing writes:<blockquote>For years, members of the military brass have been <a target="_blank" href="http://www.fas.org/sgp/news/2005/08/usa0805.html">warning</a> that soldiers' blogs could pose a security threat by leaking sensitive wartime information. But a<br />
series of online audits, conducted by the Army, suggests that <a target="_blank" href="http://www.wired.com/politics/onlinerights/news/2007/08/milbloggers">official Defense Department websites post far more potentially-harmful than blogs do</a>.</blockquote>Here's a <a href="http://www.wired.com/politics/onlinerights/news/2007/08/milbloggers">news story</a> on Wired that broke the news.</p>]]></description>

<title>Learn how to smile... better.</title>
<link>http://www.haydur.com/life/2007/07/29/learn_how_to</link>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Via <a href="http://tokyomango.com/">tokyomango.com</a>:<blockquote>"The Beauty Smile Trainer is basically a mouthpiece, but it's designed specifically to make your smile wider and more amicable than the one you already have. It's even endorsed by a cosmetic dentist (the woman on the top left.) In addition to improving your smile, the product promises to reduce facial sagging, making your countenance more firm and petite."</blockquote><a href="http://www.haydur.com/life/smile_better_gadget.html" onclick="window.open('http://www.haydur.com/life/smile_better_gadget.html','popup','width=800,height=600,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false"><img src="http://www.haydur.com/life/smile_better_gadget-thumb.jpg" width="465" height="348" alt="" /></a></p>

<p>All I can say is that NO ONE can smile <em>the wrong way</em> as shown on the packaging, it's simply impossible. So nice Photoshop work!</p>]]></description>

<title>Who Called You?</title>
<link>http://www.haydur.com/life/2007/07/22/who_called_you</link>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I'll admit to it: if I don't know you, or your phone number to be more precise, I probably won't pick up your call. Usually I will do a google search for your full number, to see if it comes up as telemarketer or is related to a company that I have done business with in the past. If that doesn't work, I will just search for the area code to find out where the call might have originated. This way not only do I not have to speak to the guy selling discount Hyundai's in my area, I also don't waste any of my cell phone minutes. But, there's an easier way: <a href="http://WhoCalled.Us">WhoCalled.Us</a>. This cool tool allows people to enter numbers that have called them, from whom the caller said they were calling and what the call was about, in to a database. And in turn, one can enter a number and find out if others have received calls from it and why. It's actually neater than it sounds, try it out, unless of course you are ever ready to pick up every strangers call.</p>]]></description>

<title>Cloverfield trailer &quot;officially&quot; online</title>
<link>http://www.haydur.com/life/2007/07/09/cloverfield_trailer</link>
<description><![CDATA[<p>The trailer is now available online at <a href="http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/11808/">this address</a>. So now I don't have to go watch Transformers again just to watch this preview again. Some people are now saying that based on the viral marketing sites related to the movie, <a href="http://www.ethanhaaswasright.com/">ethanhaaswasright.com</a> and the equally freaky <a href="http://ethanhaaswaswrong.blogspot.com/">ethanhaaswaswrong blog</a> blog that features entries in Hindi, the movie might be about <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu">Cthulu</a> a fictional mega-mutant-monster from the early 20th century. I say why stop there, let's make it a battle between <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Cthulhu_and_R%27lyeh.jpg">this ugly thing</a> and Voltron, the defender of the Universe. Btw, there's a lot of <a href="http://www.slashfilm.com/2007/07/05/cloverfield-casting-development-and-shooting-details-revealed/">hot news about this movie</a> around the web, and did I mention the "<a href="http://www.1-18-08.com/">official site</a>"? I'll leave you with a screen capture of the credits from the new released trailer:</p>

<p><img alt="cloverfield_credits_screengrab.jpg" src="http://www.haydur.com/life/cloverfield_credits_screengrab.jpg" width="465" height="223"  style="border:1px solid #ccc;" /></p>]]></description>

<title>J.J. Abrams&apos; Movie - Codename: Cloverfield</title>
<link>http://www.haydur.com/life/2007/07/05/jj_abrams</link>
<description><![CDATA[<p>So after being denied tickets to Transformers twice for various reasons, I finally managed to see the movie last night. It was great, but there was something shown right before it began that stayed with me through the movie, causing confusion and imense interest in googling what this preview, which simply ended with "Produced by J.J. Abrams, Coming: 1-18-08", was all about.</p>

<p><embed style="width:465px;height:379px;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-3283235268845219922&hl=en" id="VideoPlayback" align="middle"  quality="best" bgcolor="#ffffff" scale="noScale" salign="TL"  FlashVars="playerMode=embedded"></embed></p>

<p>I could have simply used the <a href="http://www.operamini.com/beta/">Opera Mini 4 Beta</a> on my <a href="http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_p850-1113.php">P850</a> (take that iPhone) right there, but I can't diss Transformers like that. So after some research I found <a href="http://www.firstshowing.net/2007/06/29/jj-abrams-top-secret-trailer-for-cloverfield-in-front-of-transformers/">this</a> page and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloverfield">this</a> Wikipedia entry.</p>

<p><strong>So what the hell is it?</strong></p>

<p>The preview is truly mind blowing. What makes it different is the shot-on-a-camcorder video quality, and yes I know about that <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185937/">other movie</a> that was shot similarly. Before I begin to give my 2 cents, I would like to point out <img alt="Is J.J. Abrams movie about Voltron?" src="http://www.haydur.com/life/voltron_jj_abrams_movie.jpg" width="187" height="221" align="left" style="margin:0 5px -10px 0px" /> that I might be 100% wrong. My main hunch came from a comment on the firstshowing.net entry, mentioning a Voltron action figure shown in J.J. Abrams' <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_(TV_series)">Lost</a>. So why <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltron">Voltron</a>? Well, at one point during the sneak-sneak preview, some one yells something to effect of "<strong>I can see it; It's huge; It's a lion!</strong>" If any of you remember Voltron, the mecha robot had a giant lion's heads in place of all appendages and a humanoid robot head inside a inside a helmet shaped liked... a lion's head. So there you go. But why would Voltron, the <em>"defender of the Universe"</em> decide to wreak havoc in NYC and kill innocent little humans? Well, it might be that Voltron was dragged in to a fight to Earth by any one of his villainous enemies, and it's not actually him causing the destruction.</p>

<p>Finally, if this is indeed true, it would make sense to show this preview before Transformers, where another set of Robots have brought their war to our planet. But won't that make these two movies way to similar? Sans the destruction of the Statue of Liberty, of course!</p>

<p><strong>What if it's not Voltron?</strong></p>

<p><a href="http://www.haydur.com/life/nbc_surface_creature.html" onclick="window.open('http://www.haydur.com/life/nbc_surface_creature.html','popup','width=530,height=536,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false"><img style="margin:0 0px -10px 5px;border:1px solid #CCC;" src="http://www.haydur.com/life/nbc_surface_creature-thumb.jpg" width="190" height="192" alt="Or is a new breed of monsters?" align="right" /></a>To be honest, that's what I am personally hoping for. The world really needs a new type of monster. NYC has seen enough of that radioactive over-sized lizard. We need a new monster species, one that perhaps has always been in midst, right under our feet... hundred of miles underneath, a species that breaths fire and lives in molten magma. Now that's a whole another idea, not that something like it wasn't done recently (see <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surface_(TV_series)">Surface</a>).</p>

<p>So braze yourself for fire-breathing magma-dwelling robot lions... go Abrams!</p>]]></description>
