Coming back to working with web pages after more than year of doing nothing seems alot tougher today than it did a week ago! MT is of course such a great starting point, but integrating it with all the other things I have in my mind is going to take lots of hours, soda and Ritz crackers. The one thing I am really looking forward to is building a layout from scratch using only CSS (look ma, no tables!) Already, I've saved about 30 URLs to learn new programming skills, steal ideas and may be even make something of my own. :p
As far as blogging is concerned, I've come across such wonderful works (in both content and layouts) that my web-designing brain cells are already feeling alot of pressure. What I am more confused about is the choice of categorizing this site as a Pakistani one or not... how would that affect a visitors perceptions? I didn't find alot of Pakistani blogs out there, just a few... and even fewer worth mentioning. The one I've always liked is Adnan Arif's blog. In contrast, the "oppressed" Iranians have many folds more blogs (I believe that's because some nice guy ported major blog scripts into Farsi for them).
Other things I'm working on includes my Photoblog - featuring digital pictures from my Canon Powershot A40, a movie database of movies that I have seen and recommend and other stuff that I need not mention. Boy, I'm sweating already...
