Stop stealing from NYT

More than a month ago I blogged about how The Friday Times newspaper out of Lahore, Pakistan was totally copying the New York Times signup page, together with the entire layout and the images (with a filled up color scheme). I emailed the FT editor about it but they didn't reply at all. So I said to myself, why don't I contact the NYTimes and tell them about this theft. It might not exactly be copyright infringement, but hey, stealing is stealing. Therefore, today I emailed NYT about it... lets see what happens.

This is the original NYTimes page, and this is the one Friday Times has.

[If the pages are ever changed, I saved up screenshots of them: Original & Copy. Images © of their respective owners.]

I hope something interesting happens in this case...

You may be right, but the Pakistani one looks much better. Maybe the NYT editor will realize that and change it. But you're right, the format is very very similar.
