SBC gives RIAA the finger

SBC has filled a lawsuit against RIAA, MediaForce and california pornography firm Titan Media challenging the legitimacy of the 207 subpoenas it has so far received from the three to identify traders of free multimedia files.

Personally I am very very happy that another ISP (first was Verizon) is taking a stance to protect the privacy of it's subscribers. I hope Cablevision does the same, or else fuck cable and I'm going back to my DSL.

In another nice development, a law maker sitting on the hill has sent a letter to RIAA criticizing it's suing spree and demanding an explanation of it's actions.

Yeah, screw RIAA. :P
