First we saw them cheering the arrival of troops, and now we see their children burning stranded military trucks. Why is it always like that? Why can't we - with the billions of dollars spent towards research & analysis - predict what the people actually want? Or do we just neglect their say and do what we think is best for them...
Posted in World View on August 8, 2003 1:58 PMerr.. thanks for visiting my blog. but wait.. I AM pakistani, i DONT like my sociology textbook (british, so there), and I AM protesting against our unfair represntation in the media. But living amongst Pakistanis and in their society.. it is somewhat true. The corruption, bribery, cheating, everything, is unbelievable. I blogged about how terrible Karachi is to live in a few days ago. But I know what you mean, if I ever read a blog which says all that I'd kill the blogger :)
