My day

Today's my birthday. With no parties and wish list and such, it's just another day for me, except for the many birthday wishes I started receiving at midnight and still continue to receive. I'd like to thank everyone for their warm wishes.

Birthday's just give us another one-day-special-treatment status, and it's temporary moments that I don't like. Yeah, I do tend to enjoy 'em while they last, but I hate it when something good is over, and since that's what life is all about, you can guess what I hate next. Why can't we have a smooth stream of happiness? One that goes on and on, not something that flows for one day and then dries up until next year, if ever. May be one day I will experience such a flow of happiness, until then I can just hope that tomorrow I have a different reason to feel happy and special.

To cut to my point, I don't have the enthusiasm about this day that I used to have as a kid, although I just wish I did. I wish I was happier, and I'm giving that wish my best shot. :)

Happy Birthday, there is no wonder why so many people feel birthdays to be just another day and myself no exception. But still, to comply with worldly traditions, HAVE A NICE DAY.

hmm... why do we always need reasons to be happy.. cant we just stay happy without being treated all nice and special.... just look @ the list of things u got on ur birthday.. i can bet that there are like soo many ppls who loves you more than you can ever imagine... u are way way way better than those who just dying to recieve a single wish on their birthdays..

so consider urself in among luckiest pplz....and always be happy.....and thanks to God in every moment of your life.. and inshallah your next birthday will bring sum more happiness in ur life...
