Speed talking in Bordertown

I bought a car today (yes I returned the troublesome Daewoo) at NADE auctions today. Mind you it's a dealer only affair where "customers" (consumer car buyers) like myself are allowed to go if disguised as a dealer employee holding a dealer license plate. NADE definitely knows about it (from the number of consumers allowed into the auction lanes) so I think it's not illegal or anything.

Well, the place is huge. About 4,500 cars were being auctioned off today at the rate of almost 1 car every 3 minutes at 22 lanes. And those that don't get a successful bid just go round and round until they are sold off. To me it seemed like being in a Best Buy store, 5 a.m. on black friday. Things were chaotic... I went in to get a Honda or Toyota and came out with a receipt for a Mitsubishi Galant '98. For some reason Mitsubishi isn't letting me go. Damn.

Well, atleast I'll have a car now to get me around, or may be I'll try to sell it and then go back to the auctions for a Honda. If you are wondering how much I paid for the car, stop doing that, because I'm under the secret dealership oath not to let out wholesale prices. BS. But if you still can't help yourself, just know that I paid atleast a grand less than what I would have paid at a dealership.

Here's a snapshot of our way back on the GW bridge, taken with my e715. And if you can't figure out the entry title... auctioneers speak really fast during the bidding proccess and NADE is located in Bordertown, NJ. Duh!
