I've just finished creating my global mutliblog RSS 2.0 feed. Faced a lot of issues and the end result so far might not even be a valid xml feed, but thankfully Brad Choate has a great starter entry on how to get this going, so I have a working copy that is fully usable and tested in FeedDemon. Although I had an idea of using MTOtherBlog to do so, Brad uses the Global Listings plugin, which I ended up using also. I also made heavy use of the Compare plugin to output entries differently from the photoblog and the Reel, since the data entry format in those blogs is totally different that this life blog. The XMLEncode-Block plugin also turned out to be very useful since it adds a container tag to MT which can encode anything into XML compatible code.
All this happened because I got impressed by Ryan's RSS info page. Hopefully in a couple of days I would be finished with all my RSS feeds. But it's kinda lame that I have to make feeds in three different RSS formats. But if others can do it, I can do it.
BTW, if you're interested, here's my global RSS 2.0 feed template. (Right click and save!)
P.S. If non of the above makes any sense to you, go checkout Movabletype first.
