As the ritual of coming home and writing reviews goes, I'm just coming back from the cineplex after watching "Euro Trip". This much touted teen comedy from the producers of "Road Trip" has very few things in common with the later. The movie's story line is indeed borrowed from Road Trip; the protagonist has sent his girl-in-Berlin a nasty email (as opposed to a homemade sex tape) and is now rushing through Europe to tell her that it was all a mistake because he thought she was a guy. Pretty lame, eh? A good part of the acting was Razzie grade, frontal nudity was awash. As a character put it, "it's the biggest sausage fest in the world"... don't worry, when you see it you'll understand. The repeated jokes about European bisexual stereotype male were as... limpy as... my curly fries.
I actually kinda wanted to see "The Passion of Christ", but with my friend's giggly Mexican Peruvian girlfriend there, it would have been a not-so-good idea. But don't you worry, if you just wanna bash movie makers for anti-semitic stuff, Euro Trip provides you with a one scene oppurtunity for doing just that. Still, I'll give this movie a B- for the bad acting and cheesy plot. No doubt, it's still good enough for a night of movie humor with your pals.
That's it. I actually should be working on my take home test that's due tomorrow morning at 10. But hey, rituals are rituals.
Ciao.
