A fews hours ago, this lame ass left the following comments in my 'comments on site' section:

JAL IS NOW FACING A COPYRIGHT LAW SUIT

" THIS IS A BREACH OF COPYRIGHTS ACT "

THIS SONG IS COPYRIGHTED IN UK, USA, INDIA, PAKISTAN, UAE, JAPAN, CANADA, AUSTRAUSTRALIA AND MANY MORE..... PLEASE CHANGE THE SINGER NAME... FROM JAL TO KAMRAN KHAN

For starters the guy needs to hire an attorney to atleast write his cease or desist letters. This so called 'King of Pop' is someone I have never ever heard of and it's just insanely comic how in these days of subpoena and John Doe lawsuits any knucklehead can put up a claim to intellectual property just like that. No wonder RIAA's so eager.

The song that he is talking about is not even mentioned, if ever hosted, on this site. The only association that I have with the band (besides once personally knowing the lead vocalist) is that Googling on 'Jal' shows one of my entries about the state of rock music in Pakistan. After getting this "notice" I went over to Jal's official website and, although didn't see any mention of this thing, found out that the band has broken up and they are fighting for legal rights to the name and the songs themselves. Good luck to them fighting for their intellectual property in a third world country.

Personally, I don't give a shit about any of this, I have an extra credit assignment to do for a test that I severely messed up last week.

Anyway, the comment has been removed and you can laugh at this time wasting idiot now.

Look at that :) I can't believe Kamran would do it again. The whole story has already been enough funny, nevertheless, Mr. Kamran Khan wanted to push it even further. And he's hosting his site at geocities ;)

Never heard of this king myself either. visited his site and it seems to me a quite cheap stunt. as one of my friends remarked 'he seems one self aclaimed punk to me'.
jaal had one or two good songs but they never made a big break and its sad to know that they have dismantlled before they could ake anything out of their association.

Top News Guys !! Remember the story about guy called kamran khan something about the band jal songs.. well u not gonna believe it kamran story was on the news and radio and it's announced that jal website is closing soon due to copyrights..

it's also been proven that the original songs are written and composed by him..

now to keep the cat in the bag, atiff has to apear in court on the 29 sept 2004..
