I've wasted the past two weeks of my life. Yes, I've had some fun, I've hung out with friends, eaten out, stayed up all night and the stuff that goes with that. But, I've wasted my time. I haven't worked a bit on this site or the new group project that I hopefully intend to be a part of.
The only things that I really did were pay my bills on time, thanks to the due-day-list I have created for all my bills that's obscuring part of my monitor right now. I've also started reading The Zenith Angle, which although filled with
ubergeek and up-to-date tech stuff, has failed to ignite the thrill seeking page-turner inside me, atleast in the 58 pages that I've read. Hopefully the next 248 pages would be better. If not, I'd inner-curse Wired for recommending Bruce Sterling. I mean, he is a Wired editor. Also, I managed to be responsible enough to actually attending the Faculty Webpage Development workshop at my school that I had registered for during spring. Pretty healthy experience I must say, since there's nothing better for a student to actually teach teachers. (Although personally I was handed the job placement office's site, which although not my most impressive work, atleast looks official.)
And finally, I managed to do something that I had no clue how to. I changed my bed sheet. (Actually, I just spread over a new one which had somehow mysteriously been hiding in closet for years.) Thanks mom! :)
Posted in My Life on June 2, 2004 6:17 PMI hope to finish updating the next issue of EO before the start of weekend, and if I am lucky enough, I'd finally have 8-10hours sleep at weekend afterwhich would be intouch with you on that. It's good you've had good careless days so now you can have good headstart. Beside the usual routines, the future of MT and other blogs have been hanging for a while in uncertainty so I was reluctant too. Let's see how fast could we be... Despite the physical pain from tiredness, I still want to push it fast and nice. I hope you could spare some hours now?:)
