Missed Me?

My absense from blogging here means that either one of the two things: 1. I'm highly disorganized, and cannot maintain a balanced attention level to all things important or 2. Only when you are lonely or don't have anything better to do, do you blog. Personally I'd agree more towards the 1st option.

But, even then, I've done a lot despite the bad feelings and constant but low and varied occurances of depression during the past two months. I've gotten my act together and visited three different schools to get info on transferring to a four year college. I've shopped at Ikea to get improve the asthetic levels of my living space. And I've even managed to be more punctual about throwing out the garbage or doing the dishes so that I can reduce the amount of complains coming from my roommates. It's all about my life right now, as you can observe by the lack of new entries in all the other categories.

Also, I've been movies twice in the last two weeks, seeing I, Robot and The Village. I liked both movies, I, Robot coming out much better than what I had hoped, I mean it's action cheesiness was more like a slice than a whole cake. But M. Night S.'s The Village was not a good experience for myself. No, I don't mean to say the movie, the acting or the storyline aren't good, actually they are all top notch, but it's just that I suffered from over-interest in the project. Even before most people knew about this project I was following the production, reading early script reviews and being made aware of the plot and the twists. I tried my best not to get too much into the whole thing, but unfortunatetly I did... so I had all the twists and turns figured out, deprieving myself with the element of surprise that the most people, like my girlfriend must have experienced. But still, they didn't like it, because frankly, the horror element that the movie was marketed with, just instead there much, I mean atleast in Signs the fucking Aliens were real. So most people probably left feeling cheated, like my girlfiend said, "It's a shitty movie, I want my money back...". I wish they had sold it as a love story instead, atleast then I won't have felt that the movie ended mid-movie... more like The Matrix Reloaded.

Well, anyway, scre all that. I'm happy right now and that's all that matters.
