My daughter ported the number from my ATT contracted phone over to Verizon. How can I get the use of the phone to finish out the contract?

I'm sorry I did not completely get your question. Your daugther ported
over to Verizon from AT&T while you were still in contract with AT&T?
If that's the case then you can either get AT&T to close the account
(and there are ways of getting around those termination charges) or
you can request AT&T not to cancel your old contract and allot you a
new number, in which case you might have to go to an AT&T store and
obtain a new SIM chip for your old phone (they are supposed to do that
for free), but that's only if they haven't cancelled your account and
billed you for the early termination charges already.

Did that help?

Thanks,
Haydur.
