Begging for a PageRank

Ok, so when I upgraded to MT 3.14, I was done with comment spam. I was done with MT Blacklist emailing me everytime somebody left a comment. I was done with logging into my MT only to spent the next 10 minutes cleaning out spam, all the time making sure I filter out and approve the "good" comments. So, I did the only thing that I could, disable anonymous commenting. Now, it's very peaceful, almost too peaceful.

I hope this a temporary solution and that I would be able to re-enable anonymous commenting soon. Especially after Sixapart and major search engines announced a new rel attribute for the a tag, which would disallow spiders from following that link and thus giving the target page a higher PageRank. Cool.

On a different note... is spam getting personal? Just recently I received an email from "chris" promoting his Jesus-in-wood eBay auction.

21st century begging... for a high PageRank.
