Angelina Jolie is currently on a 3-day tour of Pakistan to visit the Afghan refugee camps there as a UNHCR goodwill ambassador. She lookings pretty good in shalwar kameez (more picture at Times of India), the local dress code for women. Why do I care? Ah, well, because I am originally from Pakistan, so I do give a damn or two about the country's image. And with how things are, this at least proves that the country is safe enough for a Hollywood star to visit. (Tip: Chapati Mystery)

In other news from my neighboring-countries-of-country-of-origin watch, an Indian America student from UT-Austin was arrested for asking right-wing commentator Ann Coulter about marital sodomy. You can read his post incident open letter here.

I'm not sure why I put these two stories in one post... hmm... the only way I can think off is Ann Coulter being mad at Ms. Jolie for visiting their country, and mingling with their people. She's a bitch though. Coulter, I mean.
