It was fun. I liked the silly jokes. Not as much the hispanic (or Indian?) midget cloned to death to produced the ethnically diverse Oompa Loompas. I didn't like the fact that the golden tickets were placed at the bottom of the bars, but discovered by the children on the top. Continuity anyone?
In the end I was glad I'd chosen it over 'The Island', I mean sure I liked Scarlet Johanssen's ass in Lost in Translation, but she just doesn't cut as a sci-fi bimbo who's running for her life, not to me at least. Oh and she dated a guy named "Faiz Ahmed", sounds Pakistani. But who gives a fuck, the guy isn't even Googleable.
Coming back to Charlie now, the movie is very much recommended. Good happy times, fuck the shit going on everywhere.
