New Collapsing Columns Layout!

Ok, so I have finally moved away from the 2001 center-content CMS layout to the 2004 right-content commercial blog layout. And I like it.

It all started when I began googling for a way to prevent ApnaSpace kiddies from breaking the site layout with their humoungous images and animations. Some how I ended up on Simon Collison's website, who didn't have the solution to my problem, but who had just recently changed his blog to a width-based layout, where the columns themselves are fixed width, but their order is liquid, where as two (or more) columns can collapse and become one column if there isn't enough screen real estate. I liked it idea a lot, but went with an implementation from Muffin Research Labs.

I know I have mentioned re-doing the layout and adding AJAXified elements before, but because I've been really busy with multiple projects, I think this one update everytime I get some free time is better than just focusing on this one site. Matter of fact, I think this technique is actually useful and I might be applying it to all of my current and future projects.
