Here's some feel good news (for me, atleast) from Pakistan. According to this Newsweek report, Pakistan's economy grew by 8.4 percent in the year 2005, second only to China. Budget deficits have been cut in half to only 4 percent and tax revenues are up by 20 percent. Even the wireless sector is exploding, with two new cellular licenses granted worth $600 million and Pakistan is "now the world's fastest-growing wireless market after China".
