The Best Hotel in Northern New Jersey

When I first moved to Rockland, and before I got my apartment, I had to go through what most college going guys don't have to: stay for a few days at a local hotel (or even a motel) before finding proper accomodations. And that is how I ended up at what's perhaps Northern New Jersey's best hotel, Regency House Hotel. Ok, so it's not a five star, but within my price range it was the best accomodation I could find in the area. Not that there isn't an abundance of franchise chain hotels in the area, but Regency has this certain charm about it. They have very experienced staff members who are not only courteous but also know the area like the back of their hand, which was great for me since I didn't know anything about it. The rooms were spacious and I enjoyed my 5 days, and nights, that I spent there. That was five years ago, and although I have stayed at a variety of hotels since their, I have to see the same level of hospitality that I experienced there. Whoever can recall missing staying at a hotel...

But as fate had it, I had a deja-vu visit to Regency after learning that the hotel was acquired by a friend of a friend. How? Well, I was chosen to redo their website. To most hotels websites are a priority, because they are already cross-listed on tens of popular travel sites, and are guaranteed online bookings without even having an online presense. But Regency House Hotel in Pompton Plains, NJ is a whole another case. Regency offers extensive - and perhaps the best I've seen - banquet facilities in the northern NJ - Morris & Bergen Counties, Fairfield, Paterson etc. So a website is essential to their business since there is no portal for banquet facilities.

But what really attracted me to this job was again the Hotel itself. It hasn't changed much since I stayed there five years ago, except for of course improvement in the facilities. They are even renovating the whole place and acquiring the Best Western franchise, but have promised to keep the same level of care and personal attention that I remember Regency House Hotel for. You can check out my work on their site here.
