I'll admit to it: if I don't know you, or your phone number to be more precise, I probably won't pick up your call. Usually I will do a google search for your full number, to see if it comes up as telemarketer or is related to a company that I have done business with in the past. If that doesn't work, I will just search for the area code to find out where the call might have originated. This way not only do I not have to speak to the guy selling discount Hyundai's in my area, I also don't waste any of my cell phone minutes. But, there's an easier way: WhoCalled.Us. This cool tool allows people to enter numbers that have called them, from whom the caller said they were calling and what the call was about, in to a database. And in turn, one can enter a number and find out if others have received calls from it and why. It's actually neater than it sounds, try it out, unless of course you are ever ready to pick up every strangers call.
